George Legrow

I finally decided to go to college in 1985. I met the girl of my dreams there and we got married in January of 87. Skip ahead to 1995 and I am buying my first house (in Peabody, I was very, very fortunate and lucky.). Skip ahead again to September of 2009: my kids are 21 and 22 and I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. After 3 years of chemo and a stem cell transplant, I went into remission. Ship ahead again to 2013 and I have sold my house in Peabody and purchased one in Alfred, Maine. In January of 2021 the cancer reared its ugly head again and I've been on chemo since then and for the foreseeable future. I have, however, once again gone into remission. January 7, 2024 will mark 37 years with the love of my life. I currently work for the most wonderful company on the planet, as a machinist here in Maine.
